It all started on a birthday night out.

Picture this: we're a few (or more) drinks in and there's only one way to top the night off: live music. Easy, right? Except it wasn't.

We scrolled through endless ticket apps, random event pages, and dead-end Google searches. We couldn't find a single place that simply told us which nearby pubs had live music on right now.

That was the lightbulb moment. Why was there no easy way to find live music nearby? All the existing apps were built for planners booking tickets to big, advertised events. But what about the rest of us who just want to be spontaneous and keep the night going?

So, we built OninFive.
